Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city located outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing together with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sibling and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish.  At a very young age, Kelly Nash was a avid fan of the Miami Marlins. Even though Nash had a passion for sports since she was a child, she was always hoping to become a news reporter. In the year 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communication as well as Media Studies. Then, she graduated from Clemson with a master's degree in Youth Development Leadership in 2009. In 2015 she began contributing to the NHL Network.
